ACID-RESISTANT PAINT COATING

     The acid plant is subject to chemical resistance, corrosion, and abrasions in the entirety of the process. Without proper acid-resistant coating, the acid could be absorbed in the substrate leading to wear and tear of the internal plant lining. The absence of an acid-resistant coating would also lead to high chemical reactions between the plant metal and highly reactive components in the process. The acid resistant paint acts as a protective barrier.

     Waste disposal tanks or tanks storing acids, solvents or salts would need an acid-resistant coating for longer life.
