Pickling Line
Pickling is a process in which a thin layer of oxidized iron is formed on the surface of steel due to the reaction of alloying metals with oxygen at high temperatures. To avoid such impurities in the product it is essential to remove them, and this is done by a process called pickling. The pickling line is a part of the Acid Regeneration Plant setup. It consumes a large amount of Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) to remove the impurities. This pickling line is also able to regenerate the used HCL with 99.9% purity at the end of the process.
